VALERIE TECCI, MEd, LADC-I

Valerie Tecci, LADC-I has served as the Program Director at Elevate Recovery Center since its inception on November 1, 2020. With extensive experience in the field of substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders, Valerie has held various roles throughout her twenty year career dedicated to providing treatment to those in need. She earned her Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in substance use disorder and mental health counseling from Cambridge College and is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC I) in Massachusetts seeking her Licensed Mental Health Counseling (LMHC). Valerie’s career began in the residential sector. Her commitment to prioritizing the client’s best interests has remained steadfast as she transitioned to working in outpatient settings. Valerie fosters a safe and supportive environment for both staff and clients, empowering them to speak freely about their struggles and explore solutions to their challenges. She is passionate about helping clients overcome negative beliefs that contribute to substance use and low self-esteem. Valerie utilizes motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, holistic approaches, and person-centered, evidence-based solutions to maximize each individual’s recovery potential.
