Maria’s expertise lies in supporting individuals grappling with addiction and Mental Health within the criminal justice system. Maria’s decision to focus on addiction and Mental Health stemmed from a profound need for support she observed within her own community. Drawing from her experiences, Maria employs a combination of gratitude, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy , and motivational interviewing techniques to empower those in need. Maria remains just as dedicated to her work as when she first started, making a meaningful impact on the lives of those she serves.
